Information you provide

When you submit a project inquiry, we collect your name, email address, project town and state, project type, preferred timing, and message. A phone number is optional. We also record when the inquiry was submitted and whether an email notification was accepted or failed. Please do not include payment-card information, passwords, or other sensitive personal information in the form.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond, discuss your roofing or construction needs, arrange follow-up, and manage your inquiry. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a marketing list. We do not sell or rent inquiry information, use it for targeted advertising, or provide it to data brokers.

Where inquiries are stored and who can access them

The form submits directly to this website’s server and stores inquiries in a database used by our private inquiry inbox. It does not send submissions to FormSubmit or another separate form-submission service. The website owner must sign in to access the inbox.

Our website uses OpenAI Sites for hosting and access controls and Cloudflare infrastructure for application processing and database storage. These service providers process information as needed to operate the website. Their infrastructure may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, request times, and security or diagnostic logs. This is not a promise that information stays on your device or on equipment physically owned by Maultz.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect people, investigate misuse, or secure our services. If an inquiry becomes a project, related correspondence, estimates, contracts, and business records may be maintained separately.

Gmail notifications and Google account access

Maultz Website Notifications connects only the business Gmail account authorized by the website owner. Customers do not need to connect their Gmail account to submit an inquiry. The app requests Gmail sending permission (gmail.send) to send test messages and new-inquiry alerts to maultzconstruction@gmail.com. This permission does not give the app access to read the mailbox, contacts, or Google Drive files.

The automated alert contains a link to the private inbox, without the customer’s name, contact details, or project message. Google processes and stores the notification email through Gmail. If you email us directly or we reply by email, that correspondence is handled by the relevant email providers.

The app stores encrypted Google authorization credentials to maintain the connection and uses temporary security information during sign-in. We use Google account access only for the notification feature. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

Our use and transfer of information received through Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy, including their Limited Use requirements.

The website owner can disconnect Gmail in the private email settings to remove the saved connection credentials from the active database and stop notifications. The owner can also revoke authorization through Google Account connections. Disconnecting does not delete emails already delivered or project inquiries already saved.

Retention and deletion

Saved inquiries remain in the active inbox until manually deleted or removed under an enabled retention setting. The owner can select 90, 180, or 365 days; automatic deletion is off unless a period is selected. When enabled, cleanup runs when the inbox is opened, a new inquiry arrives, or the setting is saved. It is not a scheduled daily deletion service.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your inquiry, email maultzconstruction@gmail.com. Include enough information for us to locate it; we may need to verify the request. We may retain records needed for an ongoing project, legal obligations, or resolving a dispute.

Deleting an inbox entry removes it from the active website database. It does not automatically remove separate emails, downloaded copies, project records, or provider backups and logs, which may remain subject to separate retention practices.

Cookies and security

We have not added advertising pixels or marketing analytics to this website. Hosting, sign-in, and the Google connection may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication and security. Links to other websites are subject to those websites’ privacy practices.

We use access controls, HTTPS, and encryption of stored Gmail connection credentials to help protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
